SCOPE Exchange Program

PMSA was established to foster cooperation and collaboration among medical students by breaking down social barriers. Through the Standing Committee on Professional Exchange (SCOPE), we aim to promote dialogue and create valuable clinical exchange opportunities. Since its inception in 2007, SCOPE has been dedicated to enhancing the medical education experience by providing students with international exposure and opportunities to work alongside healthcare professionals globally.

MEDX with Dr. Nimr Adeeb

MedX is a project designed to help medical students expand their knowledge about scholarships and medical experiences. Through this initiative, we invite experienced doctors to share their insights and personal journeys, offering valuable guidance to students. By engaging with these professionals, students gain a deeper understanding of the opportunities available to them and the paths they can take in their medical careers.

Norpal sawa

NorPal Sawa is a student exchange program that fosters collaboration between the IFMSA NMOs of Norway and Nablus, Palestine. The program aims to raise awareness about the healthcare systems and health status in both countries, while promoting the exchange of expertise and ideas. Rooted in a shared history of resistance against injustice, NorPal Sawa encourages mutual understanding and cooperation. The program aligns with the Standing Committees on Human Rights and Peace (SCORP) and Professional Exchange (SCOPE). Over the course of one month, participants engage in clinical rotations at various public and private hospitals in Nablus, a First-Aid training session in Balata Camp in partnership with UNRWA, and a social and tour program to further enrich their cultural experience.

MEDX meetings

MedX is a comprehensive platform featuring a series of sessions with interns, residents, and doctors, offering them a chance to share their experiences of studying and working abroad. With over 30 sessions, held both online and in-person, MedX has proven to be an invaluable resource for medical students. These sessions allow students to reflect on their academic journeys and gain insights into a variety of opportunities, including international internships, residency programs, and research positions. By participating in MedX, students expand their awareness of the diverse pathways available to them after completing their medical degrees, equipping them with the knowledge and guidance needed to succeed in their future careers.

Scope 101
